A noble and worthy character trait to instill in our children, right? Letter C could not agree more!
Caring for cats has brought her so much joy through the years. Whether it’s offering a lonely stray cat a cozy place to rest for a while or crocheting mittens for kittens on cold nights, letter C always creates a caring atmosphere for her feline friends.

Cloaked in calming comfort
Cute outstretched paws unstirring
Letter C has company
That’s cuddled close and purring.
As in countless times before
She greets each curious guest
With a comforter of corduroy
Cast cozily to rest.
C has cared for cats
Since she was a carefree tot
And their crazy acrobatics
Cause her to laugh a lot.
Crowds of cats in every color
Have casually come by
C creates some crafty toys
And croons a lull-a-bye.
Calicos can be complainers
When they get cross or cranky
If they cry or cause commotion
She consoles them with a hanky.
In conversing on the corner
With a brown-striped, green-eyed tabby
C cleverly convinced him
It’s not cool to be so crabby.
Her very favorite contact
Was a cuddly crate of kittens
They were curled up in the cold
And C crocheted them mittens.
She caters to the feline crew
Combs coats and clips coarse claws
Such commitment to compassion
Clearly calls for some applause.
Whiskers crinkle at the cooking
Of her crunchy homemade chow
And all concur that letter C
Is just ‘the cat’s meow.’
